A note on readings: This class is designed so that participants experience ideas and develop their own understandings prior to reading about the ideas. The readings should provide vocabulary and confirm and reify ideas already developed in the class through activities and discussion.

Setting up space for quick writes and reflective writing:
For in-person implementation: Participants should have a journal (e.g., a composition book) that they will use for quick writes during class and reflective writing assigned as homework between sessions.

For remote implementation: We have used google docs, Jamboard, and blogs for in class collaborative work and reflective writing. Decide what is best for your group based on familiarity with technology. You may find that technology you already use with your team (Slack, Google Teams, etc.) will also fill this need without having to learn new tools.
